How about Lilah Grace?

SpunkyMummy · 11/11/2016 08:41

Layla.

Isla is too popular. And with Grace as a middle name it's... a super popular first name and the ''standard" middle name. I'm not really a fan of this.

KoolAde · 10/11/2016 17:59

Leila (or Layla, but prefer the Arabic spelling).

Isla is pretty, but over-used round my way at the moment.

SorenaJ · 10/11/2016 10:55

Isla Grace

KoalaDownUnder · 08/11/2016 05:18

Layla.

Isla is overused beyond belief. And the Leila I know constantly gets 'Lee-la'.

Are you interested in alternative middle name suggestions? Grace is very 'filler', like Rose or May.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 08/11/2016 01:13

Layla Grace. Surely the Isla obsession is over now

Symmplythebest · 07/11/2016 23:58

I'm having a Lyla Grace in the next few weeks Smile

DramaAlpaca · 07/11/2016 23:38

Isla Grace

rainbow99 · 07/11/2016 22:02

Isla, not keen on Layla at all

ViewBasket · 07/11/2016 21:49

I was wondering if combining Isla and Layla into Lila would work, and remembered that Kate Moss has a Lila Grace.

I like Layla, or how about Grace as a first name?

chatnanny · 07/11/2016 21:24

I like both but because she will always have to spell Leyla / Leila I'd go for Isla.

Pluto30 · 07/11/2016 21:21

Incorrect, Poldarks.

The closest translation of the word 'night' is 'laylah'. I don't know about you, but Layla looks closer to laylah than Leila does.

Bumplovin · 07/11/2016 21:20

I prefer Isla grace but go with the one that YOU love x

Pluto30 · 07/11/2016 21:20

No one in school will even notice her middle name...

I don't think any of my friends would know my middle name, because it's never used.

And I think it says more about you noticing the word slag in Isla Grace than it does about the rest of us who didn't notice. I still don't know how you managed to comb that out of the name. It's hardly glaringly obvious.

PoldarksBreeches · 07/11/2016 21:19

There is no original spelling of Layla. It's an Arabic name meaning any spelling has been translated from Arabic characters and as long as it's phonetic then it's correct. Layla, laila, Leila are all correct.

AntsMarching · 07/11/2016 21:18

What about Lyla (pronounced Lie-la)?

MartinaMartini · 07/11/2016 21:14

Wutang is right....secondary school would be hell!

MartinaMartini · 07/11/2016 21:12

Isla is so over used and Grace is a dull 'filler' middle name.

Leila/ Layla is nice.

Claudia?

Chinlo · 07/11/2016 20:29

I'm just reading the letters... Isla G Surname. Sla G kinda leaps out

I think that's just you.

Foxtato · 07/11/2016 20:29

Much prefer Isla.
Different middle name possible?

livinglooney8 · 07/11/2016 20:24

Layla is a much prettier and more unusual name. Less likely to be one of several in school.

Wutang your way over thinking it!

I taught three Isla's last year and two this year. I love it and it was one of our name choices but it's too popular for me.

Layla.

WuTangFlan · 07/11/2016 19:53

Have Isla, but not Isla Grace, or any middle name with a G!

Isla Grace = I Slag Race. NO no no no no.
