Our little boy is nameless. We have to register him soon! I feel really sorry for him Grin poor little guy does need a name! We just can't pick (absolutely love them all!) which is your favourite???

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
GinevraPotter · 04/11/2016 19:44

Forrest and River are my favourites.

MoonHare · 04/11/2016 19:43

Out of those 4 River.

SoupDragon · 04/11/2016 19:41

None of them.

Jackiebrambles · 04/11/2016 19:39

I'd definitely avoid Everest. For many reasons really, but Paw patrol is the most relevant to children!

greenfolder · 04/11/2016 19:39

There are 4 children called bear in dds primary school. And no doubt there will be plenty of rivers about. If you want a name that is unusual I'd go with Colin or gary

fruityb · 04/11/2016 19:37

I know someone with a Forest, a girl actually, but I do think it's lovely. I also saw a Nevis somewhere which I actually thought was really nice. I also like Ever in that sort of vein (names I love but wouldn't be brace enough to use!) there was a Hunter born next to me when I had my son.

GinIsIn · 04/11/2016 19:36

Is this for a human boy?!

cookielove · 04/11/2016 19:35

I love Bear, and Forrest! love the actor and i think the gump connection is long gone!

We used Wolfe for our ds''s middle name !

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 04/11/2016 19:32

How about Leon ?

Sophronia · 04/11/2016 19:30

I really like River. How about Everett instead of Everest?

griffinsss · 04/11/2016 19:28

What about the name Lief? Leif? I can't remember how you spell it. It's pronounced the same a leaf of course. I think it's darling. I like all of the names mentioned in the title, but I'm not utterly sold on Bear.

VixenLupin · 04/11/2016 19:26

My sons nickname is Bear. It's a fantastic nn, not sure as a real name though.

I think of double glazing as well as the mountain for Everest.

Same with Forest - always think of Gump.

River is fine, it's a known name.

VixenLupin · 04/11/2016 19:24

Or you could combine the names and call him Everbeariverest.

Bummymummy77 · 04/11/2016 19:22

I LOVE River.

And if people are going to make unkind comments why don't they make them in their heads only?

Bummymummy77 · 04/11/2016 19:21

Forrest is the correct way of spelling it in the states.

Having said that, I know 5 Forests and 7 Forrests. It's hugely popular here.

Penguina · 04/11/2016 19:20

Are you a family of explorers?

Pigeonpost · 04/11/2016 19:20

Forrest or River for me. Bear sounds like a nickname and Everest is a bit too specific (mountain or uPVC windows...) for me.

DearMrDilkington · 04/11/2016 19:19

Don't call him forest! He will have a lifetime of 'run forest run' Grin.

I'd go for bear.

Joinourclub · 04/11/2016 19:17

Forrest. I like bear but just reminds me of how the kids at the school I used to teach at described everything they didn't like as 'bare long miss'.

IamScarfaceClaw · 04/11/2016 19:15

Ooh and a 'Lief'

IamScarfaceClaw · 04/11/2016 19:14

I know a Bear....it suits him as an adult so certainly did as a child, I also know 2 men named Moss, a Rush, an Oak and an Onyx!

plimsolls · 04/11/2016 19:11

Forrest or River. Agree "rr" for name-Forrest rather than tree-Forest. I like River a lot.

Bear is sweet but I tend to assume it's a baby-nickname for Edward/Teddy.

I would have said Everest is my favourite until I read the comments about it being a female character in Paw Patrol. I assume Paw Patrol is very popular with older children? (My baby is tiny so I don't yet have the pleasure of kids TV!)

Musicinthe00ssucks · 04/11/2016 19:10

Sorry but Forrest is going to be associated with Forrest Gump. River is just about tolerable

LouiseJ88 · 04/11/2016 19:10

We like Leo, but it's too popular!
