ARGHH

Several days over due now. Thought id decided on Rupert until I listened to a mum stalk around the perimeter of a soft play bleating out ' Ruuuupert, Darling, Ruuuupert, mummy's looking for you Ruuuupy' for 15 minutes.

Am starting to feel in my sleepless, hormonal state that he is staying put until I find his name, like a pregnancy version of rumpelstiltskin, or akin to the Never Ending Story where the main character has to cry out a suitable name three times :-/

So, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Rupert.. But not Rupert plze 😅

Thx all for the suggestions 😊
Lots I like, but I cant seem to settle on one.. Perhaps I'm putting too much emphasis on a name.
Am nine days overdue now, so hopefully he'll come out and a name will just suit him ! X

I love Rupert, there will always be someone else using the same name for their child and they will usually make you roll your eyes.

I love Rupert!

MoonHare · 02/11/2016 22:42

Reuben is a great alternative to Rupert.
Maybe also - Toby, Monty, Gregory, Hamish, Max, Boyd, Lawrence.

Jasper is the ultimate cat name. I know 8 beautiful feline jaspers. Its not a name for a human.

Reuben is lovely.

JeanGenie23 · 02/11/2016 22:29

I like Jasper.
Ruben is also good, I really like Rudy.

Robert has a special place in my heart as it was my dad's name, or how about Michael?

Rupert and Jasper are amusing dogs names.

Thomas, John, Peter are straightforward classic names that any serious adult would thank you for. Could be a judge, doctor or plumber.

Call your child Ptolemy or similar and everyone will secretly ridicule you for being affected.

IMO

BikeRunSki · 02/11/2016 22:20

Was also going to suggest Ruben.

mirrorballs · 02/11/2016 22:19

Not ARGHH then? Phew!
Another vote for Reuben

Horseshoe1 · 02/11/2016 22:04

Like Reuben or Rufus much more than Rupert. How about Rory or Elliott?
