5 days old daughter - help us decide on her name

I had a little girl five days ago and am having a hard time deciding on her name.

We already have a boy and a girl (Liam and Katie) so it needs to be something that goes with that...

Current favourites are Nina or Josie, with other contenders Leah and Sadie.

She is a red head at the moment, and (if anything like other two will be strong willed).

What are people's preferences? Our surname is Bell if that makes a difference too?

tIA, sleep deprivation means making this decision feels crazy hard xx

Congratulations Flowers

I think Nina is the best of your options, but I'd choose Niamh as her name. She's beautiful, it's beautiful and it fits well with her siblings' names. Niamh Patricia, that's just lovely.

Awwww, she could be a Florence. For some reason that seems to suit her.

Elph we love katie morag, I'm sure that's subconsciously why we called our son liam. But not so sure re flora ann

Katie (Morag) has a brother Liam and sister Flora Ann so stick with that family for inspiration and you must buy the Katie Morag books if you don't have them already
Gorgeous pic

CalleighDoodle · 02/11/2016 21:14

How about josie lea (pro lee) instead of leah as it flows better

Quercus3 · 02/11/2016 21:09

Josie Leah, perfect! Congratulations :)

ruthietoothie · 02/11/2016 21:08

I think on names going with siblings it's partly about if sound too similar when call them out, etc... Or like you say if completely different styles of names.i do like all of our options though so maybe I should just focus on that!! She's just baby at the moment / baby bel :-) so think could try out each name for a day each and see how we get on...

That is a lot for a baby gro isn't it xx

Sadie Patricia

Sadie, Katie and Liam.

Perfect! Just like your cute newborn photo!

I also love Josie ( Josephine) a lot; I just think Sadie works slightly better.

Nina is lovely but doesn't seem to "fit" so well with your other names. Don't like Leah. (sorry)

ElizaDontlittle · 02/11/2016 20:53

She's beautiful! Congratulations!
I don't think you can do Sadie and Katie sadly... so Nina, goes great with your others and very underused. Enjoy her.

RavioliOnToast · 02/11/2016 20:51

Fwiw, and j know it isn't in your list- I love Piper Grin

I honestly don't think you should worry about her name fitting with her sisters....I never understand HOW a name fits with another....obviously you wouldn't call one child Peregrine and the next one Wayne....but names like Katie, Sadie etc...they're all of a similar ilk.

user1477282676 · 02/11/2016 20:49

Beautiful! Sadie.

onedayimightforget · 02/11/2016 20:49

Off Topic - just googled Sture & Lisa, £20 for a babygrow! Some lovely stuff though. Your friends/relatives must really like little Sadie Wink

What are you actually referring to her as at the moment?

ruthietoothie · 02/11/2016 20:42

I do like Sadie lots but do worry how it fits with Katie (though she actually a katherine so may end up Kate etc...) have similar fears re Josie though like it lots.

Baby gro a gift, Swedish make I think called sture & lisa

It's so so tricky!! I am genuinely torn and so is my OH. Naming is such a big responsibility and super hard when not getting any sleep and emotions all over the shop.
ConfusedSmile thanks for saying she's cute. I think so but pretty darn biased!!

TheTroutofNoCraic · 02/11/2016 20:39

I think she's a gorgeous little Sadie!

onedayimightforget · 02/11/2016 20:38

I think Sadie after seeing the photo.

Also, I love her babygrow, where is it from?

Artandco · 02/11/2016 20:38

Nina

I know it's not on your list but. She looks like a Chloe to me

CalleighDoodle · 02/11/2016 20:30

Clearly we are no help Grin

CalleighDoodle · 02/11/2016 20:30
