Recognisable but under used girls' names

Looking for a pretty girl's name for potential DD3.

I'd love a name that's recognisable, easy to spell and pronounce but not hugely used (wouldn't everyone?!). Examples that come to mind (but not names i would use) are Sienna, Imogen, Soleil, Cleo, Elise, Juliet, Elena, Valentina.

I love Penelope which seems popular on here but certainly wouldn't be where I live, but DH not having it!

Any ideas?

min did you just sneak tuppence in to see if anyone was paying attention? Is that really a name?

CheerfulYank · 01/11/2016 13:40

I have a Margaret and she's the only little one I know. :)

AnnetteKertan · 01/11/2016 13:36

Sienna was the 26th most popular name in 2015, Imogen was 34th so they are fairly popular with around 1,500-2000 born each year.

We had a few names from the list that you like for our dd3.

We didn't go for any of them in the end but I loved Tess (not Tessa, just Tess). My husband really disliked it so it was off the table but I still love it, he loved Julia but it wasn't for me so that was my veto Grin.

I know 2 Lydias under 4 and its lovely. I also really like Sabine ( again I know 2). I'm afraid I'm with your husband re Penelope.

If you don't want popular don't go for Imogen. That seems really popular and I'm sure it's been in the top 50 girls names for a few years.
I'm afraid I also think Soleil would fox some people (more so than the others).

It's not that I particularly like these but they are names of girls at my school, so likely to be out of fashion now.

Lovely names so far, keep them coming!

I don't think Soleil is hard to pronounce/spell!
