Hi everyone,
I'm due in 6 weeks and still not 100% on a boy's name. Me and my husband both like Niall but are undecided on how to spell it.

So....help me decide....would you go for Nyle or Niall?!

Niall is my brothers name. It's a gorgeous name. I didn't know that in Scotland they pronounced it Neil. We are in Ireland

The British Olympic gymnast was Nile Wilson, but I prefer Niall.

Niall

Ah, I'd wondered why sometimes it was said Neil.

Feel bad now I worked with a Nail who said his name was Neil and everyone called him Nial Neil Nial. Nice guy too - got married to Susan not Sue.

DramaAlpaca · 29/10/2016 17:32

Niall

squoosh · 29/10/2016 16:41

In Scotland they pronounce Niall the same as Neil. In Ireland it's pronounced Nyul/Nyle a la Niall Horan or Niall Quinn.

HelenaJustina · 29/10/2016 15:36

Niall

BackforGood · 29/10/2016 15:35

Only ones I've come across in the last 20 years or so have all spelled it Nile.

It isn't Caoimhe (pronounced key-va) it is Kevina, pronounced keveeena

1horatio · 29/10/2016 15:12

Niall is great :)

lljkk · 29/10/2016 14:50

both fine. But how to say Nyle is a lot more obvious!!!

LittleCandle · 29/10/2016 14:46

Thank goodness I'm not the only one who read them as different names! Niall is far superior to Nyle.

IneedAdinosaurNickname · 29/10/2016 14:35

I read them as totally different names Niall (Neil) and Nyle (Nile)

He was gorgeous by the way and I love the name Nyle.

user1477427207 · 29/10/2016 14:30
