I adore the name Peter. You could do the nursery in a Peter Rabbit theme.

Peter. Though it's always shortened to Pete in the UK, for some reason... Like Andrew / Andy.

I don't like Mark, it's a bit whiney sounding. I like Peter, I even considered that name myself until my uncle married a lovely lady named Peta, pronounced Peter Confused

Mark. It can't be shortened - I don't think I like Pete as a nickname. Although my friend is a Peter known as Pedro.
