I like Solomon, NN Solly!

DiegeticMuch · 21/10/2016 09:01

Solomon nn Sol is great.

auntym · 20/10/2016 17:05

Sounds like gobble, which where I'm from is another word for blow job. Not keen but Gabe is lovely.

SorenaJ · 20/10/2016 12:37

Solomon is lovely!

SorenaJ · 20/10/2016 12:36

Gable the cable guy

HillaryFTW · 19/10/2016 23:25

"Jeremiah wasn't exactly the luckiest of people"

And, of course, he was a bull frog

Op, i Iike both those. Hope your surname isn't Grundy for Solomon, though

dotdotdotmustdash · 19/10/2016 18:29

Brick is the name of the youngest kid in 'The Middle'

ChathamDockyard · 19/10/2016 17:24

Both Solomon and Jeremiah are great names. I like the sound of them and they aren't too common.

I also like Sol and Jem as NN.

Garthmarenghi · 19/10/2016 16:39

Solomon is fabulous. Gets my vote.

ErrolTheDragon · 19/10/2016 16:37

Jeremiah wasn't exactly the luckiest of people...

(The doctor in star trek next gen was played by a Gates, btw. )

mouldycheesefan · 19/10/2016 16:32

Solomon is an awful lot to live up to. Every time he does someone daft his name becomes ridiculous.
What else do you have?

CeCeBloomer · 19/10/2016 16:29

Also like Solomon and Jeremiah although we are 95% on Solomon, so think that's going to be it

Oh I rather like it as a name but there are too many cruel playground variations sadly.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 19/10/2016 10:31

Which other names do you like OP ?
Don't go away !😄

Pluto30 · 19/10/2016 10:00

There's a guy named Gable Tostee on trial for murder here at the moment. It's the only time I've ever heard it as a name.

CeCeBloomer · 19/10/2016 07:05

It was from a list of Hebrew names - crossed off list now!

I too think it's part of a house, not a name.

HillaryFTW · 18/10/2016 23:01

To rhyme with able, I think.

iminshock · 18/10/2016 22:55

Don't be ridiculous

MakingItFun · 18/10/2016 22:48

Architrave
Corbel
Escutcheon

ChathamDockyard · 18/10/2016 22:35

Sorry but it's a no from me and I don't usually mind non-names.

HardcoreLadyType · 18/10/2016 22:27

What about Soffit? You could save Fascia for a DD.

Lunar1 · 18/10/2016 22:26

How do you say it? To rhyme with babble or Mable?

SailingThroughTime · 18/10/2016 22:26

Spindle is a bit too like Spinster for my taste but hey ho - horses for courses and all that.
Mansard is a strong 4 square name for a boy.

HillaryFTW · 18/10/2016 22:26

Lintel? A nice alternative to Linnet.
