We are expecting twins. Can't quite decide.

Bethany & Gregory or Bethan & Gregor!!??

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Bethany and Gregory sounds weird to me, I think it's the doubly 'y'

So by default it's the other option.

Chinlo · 18/10/2016 16:49

Bethany and Gregor.

SpidersFromMars · 18/10/2016 16:24

Bethan and Gregor if they have to match

Bethany and Gregor if they don't.

(They'll end up Beth and Greg, but I prefer the longer name for Sundays and CV's)

PotatoBread · 18/10/2016 16:02

Definitely not Bethany and Gregory - it's sounds to matchy matchy. I prefer Bethany and Gregor too but if your adamant that you're not going to mix them up then Bethan and Gregor even though I don't like the name Bethan

manhowdy · 18/10/2016 15:50

I love Bethany & Gregor.

twinjocks · 18/10/2016 15:45

Bethan and Gregor

CancellyMcChequeface · 18/10/2016 15:43

Beth would have to deal with most people assuming that her real name was Elizabeth. I like Beth and Greg as nicknames, but not for the birth certificate.

Bethany and Gregor sound best to me.
Bethan and Gregor if you really don't want with a y and one without.

lornathewizzard · 18/10/2016 14:58

I don't like two with the -y but neither do I like Bethan (although DD is Bethany so that may be making me biased).
So I would just do Beth and Greg.

Sparrowlegs248 · 18/10/2016 14:43

Bethan and Gregor. But Bethan and Gregory really.

Yoarchie · 18/10/2016 14:42

I would just go for Beth and Greg.

Puremince · 18/10/2016 14:40

Bethan and Gregor. Though I also think Bethan and Gregory works better.

Paddingtonthebear · 18/10/2016 09:04

Bethan and Gregory sound better, out of all those combos.

I prefer Beth or Bethan to Bethany.
I personally don't like Greg/Gregory/Gregor though.

Pipilangstrumpf · 18/10/2016 08:54

Bethany sounds feminine, Bethan sounds masculine to my ears, sorry.

So it would have to be Bethany of the two for me. And I prefer Gregor of the boys options.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 18/10/2016 08:50

Bethany and Gregor.

HardcoreLadyType · 18/10/2016 07:25

Bethan is pronounced like Beth-Ann (imagine it with a Welsh lilt), Pluto.

I think it's very pretty.

I always hear Gregor like the character in the one episode of Black Books, where Fran finds her relatives (strong Eastern European accent) but if I imagine it with a Welsh accent, it sounds lovely. (In fact, anything said in a Welsh accent sounds lovely - I could listen to Welsh people talking all day!)

WanderingTrolley1 · 18/10/2016 01:35

Bethan and Gregor.

Pluto30 · 18/10/2016 00:59

Bethan is awful, although I'm willing to accept it might sound better in an accent other than mine. Gregor sounds awful to me too.

So, Bethany and Gregory by default.

leccybill · 18/10/2016 00:19

Just Beth and Greg is best I think.
Both names in their own right.

wobblywonderwoman · 18/10/2016 00:16

Beth and Greg are better than the other options

ecuse · 18/10/2016 00:15

I would have one with/one without the -y. Either way.

Or Beth and Greg.

QueenLizIII · 18/10/2016 00:09

please can you just decide between the 2 options?

Confused they're YOUR children.

You decide.

oleoleoleole · 17/10/2016 22:25

Beth and Greg

gingerboy1912 · 17/10/2016 22:16

Bethan and Gregor

strawberrypenguin · 17/10/2016 22:12

Bethan and Gregor but I agree with other posters that actually I think Bethan and Gregory works best sorry!
Beth and Greg is fine :)

YoullNeverWeeAlone · 17/10/2016 22:02
