I know a few (one very very well Wink) and none are called Ellie.

Jemima to me is the name of the stereotypical posh little darling eg "Little Jemima and Tarquin only eat organic hummus I'm afraid"

I like them both but as she gets older they will probably be shortened. Which shortened version do you like best?

At school I expect Jemima will be shortened to Jem and Eloise to Ellie.

We called the Jemima I went to school with "Jim". She also got "Mimes" from some people. Both pretty awful.
