What do you think? Gorgeous boy of my cousin who can't totally decide.

Yup - penis name.

ScarletSienna · 04/10/2016 13:14

'Penis based' hahaha. But exactly why I couldn't.

Rafe is how those I know pronounce it (and the traditional English way I think. Ralph Fiennes is probably the most famous example) but obviously Ralf is a pronounciation too.

I prefer the Rafe pn out of the two.

trevortrevorslatterfry · 04/10/2016 13:04

oops whiffle I obviously had the wording of your post in my mind when I wrote mine.
Although my veto is penis-based rather than cartoon-based!

trevortrevorslatterfry · 04/10/2016 13:03

Ralph always reminds me of Forever too and I'd have to veto on that basis Blush

EachandEveryone · 04/10/2016 12:51

I've never heard of a ralphie called raffie to me it doesn't make sense at all

Rafe is the traditional pronunciation as in Ralph Fiennes.

Caldini22 · 04/10/2016 09:22

I like it, think it's cute for a little one and yet suitably grown up for an adult

Pipilangstrumpf · 04/10/2016 09:21

Sorry about the multiple posts Blush

Pipilangstrumpf · 04/10/2016 09:20

I've only ever heard Ralph pronounced as Ralf.

Rafe is a different name or maybe a nickname for Rafael?

I like Ralph.

Why is it pronounced rafe?

OP posts:
AnnaT45 · 04/10/2016 03:32

I love it but I would pronounce it Rafe. I think some people say Ralf so you'd have to be prepared for correcting!

Caipira · 04/10/2016 03:26

Ralph still reminds me of Judy Blume's book, forever...

Me too!

AmeliaJack · 04/10/2016 01:12

Yep, like Sienna Judy Blume ruined it for me.

ScarletSienna · 04/10/2016 00:42

Which pronounciation, Rafe or Ralf?

Ralph still reminds me of Judy Blume's book, forever... Blush

Pipilangstrumpf · 03/10/2016 14:40

I like it. Simple, cool and not overused.

whifflesqueak · 03/10/2016 09:31

we settled on Wilf in the end which has a similar sound to it, but I was compromising. Ralph is a cracking name.

MummyPigIsLost · 03/10/2016 09:30
