Sounds like a stock cube

LikelyLama · 01/10/2016 21:38

John Betjemens granddaughter is called Endellion

Somerville · 01/10/2016 21:32

I like it.

I'd use Della as nn.

LikelyLama · 01/10/2016 21:29

I really like it. I think it's pretty and strong. There are a few options for nicknames too. It's a bit out there but it's not a crazy sounding name.

Catgirl83 · 01/10/2016 21:15

It makes me think of a surname rather than a first name but I actually really like it.

ScarletOverkill · 01/10/2016 21:13

Another thinking of dandelions Flowers

katemess12 · 01/10/2016 21:08

Also thought of a pork medallion.

MargoReadbetter · 01/10/2016 21:07

Sorry OP, sounds like a toothpaste.

ErrolTheDragon · 01/10/2016 21:05

Its pretty but she'd be forever having people asking her how its spelled or getting it wrong. How about having it as a middle name, she could choose to use it if she loved it.

AngelicaSchuylerChurch · 01/10/2016 20:53

I also immediately thought of Florence Cameron. I think quite a few people will.

PrincessOnTheInternet · 01/10/2016 18:33

I immediately thought 'medallion' as in medallion of bacon Confused hungry so it's a no from me. It is a nice name but I personally wouldn't use it as a first name, perhaps middle.

YvaineStormhold · 01/10/2016 18:31

Lovely.

neonrainbow · 01/10/2016 18:30

If it's any consolation most people wont have the foggiest idea that its the third name of one of David Cameron kids.

ForeverEyesOfBlue · 01/10/2016 18:09

It's a good strong name, but it does remind me of Florence Cameron. And St Endellion Brie.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 01/10/2016 17:36

Ellen my appologies, I didn't realise the name was for your daughter.
In that case, yes, it's very unusual, I haven't heard of it before 😄

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 01/10/2016 17:31

I also thought of Dandilion, which isn't a bad thing at all.
OP, I'm really sorry, but Endy, he will possibly be nicknamed Bell End, you know what kids are like.

BendydickCuminsnatch · 01/10/2016 15:33

My first thought was the Camerons.

Endellion. ENDELLION. I quite like the sound.

Endellion.

Grin
rainbowstardrops · 01/10/2016 15:23

I quite like it really but my first thought was dandelion too.
That's a weed that supposedly makes you wet the bed isn't it?! Sorry Grin
Honestly, I like it

HoratioNightboy · 01/10/2016 15:21

How is it pronounced? I'm thinking End-ELL-ee-on but happy to be corrected!

MrsHughesCarson · 01/10/2016 15:17

I like it ,but it does make me think of the Cameron's daughter, although they will hopefully have fallen into obscurity in a few years.

0pti0na1 · 01/10/2016 15:13

I like it.

MissElizaBennettsBaubles · 01/10/2016 13:11

I think it's a lovely name

But then Delli is one of my nicknames as my little bro couldn't pronounce my name when he was small

My name isn't Endellion btw...

NuffSaidSam · 01/10/2016 13:04

I'm not keen on it. I think it's quite harsh sounding and Endi and Delli are both terrible nicknames. It just seems a bit 'try hard'.

EllenDegenerate · 01/10/2016 11:04

The Cameron's not the Amerindians 😂

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 01/10/2016 11:04

thought her first name was Florence

ThNk god I was wrong about something to do with theCamerons!
