If you're Czech, then go for it.

Scratcher0 · 30/09/2016 13:48

Crack on then!

StCecilia · 30/09/2016 13:47

Well I'd definitely go with the Czech spelling then.

Scratcher0 · 30/09/2016 13:46

I am Czech, but there's no Czech surname, as I took DH's English one

I would've assumed it was spelt incorrectly too but then I don't speak Czech.

If you have Czech heritage I think it's a lovely nod to it Smile

I also thought yooonique. If you have Czech heritage, and ideally if Isaak will have a Czech surname, go for it. I'd go for Isaac otherwise.

Nakupenda · 30/09/2016 13:40

My first impression of it is 'yoonique'

Just looks like you've spelled it differently for the sake of it.

But that's a first impressions thought

Also used in England for centuries - there was a writer born in late 1500s called Izaak Walton.

peaceloveandbiscuits · 30/09/2016 13:38

Do you have Czech heritage?

Scratcher0 · 30/09/2016 13:36

Sorry, I thought it was quite known

It's the Czech spelling Smile

Hate Izaak. Isaac is a much nicer spelling - and traditional. Why choose a spelling that people will get wrong all the time?

n0ne · 30/09/2016 13:34

Is there a reason for the non-traditional spelling?

WordGetsAround · 30/09/2016 13:33

Love it. Best spelling, I think.
