I prefer Kaylie, but Kayleigh is probably the more popular spelling. I also like Kaley (like the actress Kaley Cuoco)

lastqueenofscotland · 04/10/2016 13:22

Kayleigh. Bit dated but i quite like it. Know two, both lovely.

Shinyshoes2 · 02/10/2016 19:01

I actually know a Kaylee ! No lie

Kayleigh

neonrainbow · 02/10/2016 18:51

Yeah i thought id heard of ceilidh dances.

pepperpot99 · 02/10/2016 18:30

Kh'aeee-Leighhhhh.

Soubriquet · 02/10/2016 17:45

Well to be fair "Kaylee" was a shortened version of Kaywinnit Lee Frye Grin

LadySaladinForge · 02/10/2016 17:39

How can 'Kaylee' be seen as a 'joke'?

Firefly!

crayfish · 02/10/2016 17:35

Well yes, Ceilidh isn't actually a name. Eilidh is though.

CauliflowerSqueeze · 02/10/2016 17:15

Cherry blossom in the market square...

CauliflowerSqueeze · 02/10/2016 17:12

"Rave" Grin

LunaLoveg00d · 02/10/2016 17:10

Yes but a ceilidh is a Scottish dance. Using the ceilidh spelling is equivalent to calling your baby Disco or Rave.

crayfish · 02/10/2016 17:05

The 'C' version is a Scottish word so probably mumsnet and the whole of Scotland will be able to spell it,

crayfish · 02/10/2016 17:04

Kaley for me. It's seems the least 'fussy'

neonrainbow · 02/10/2016 17:02

Kayleigh i reckon. Only people on mumsnet will know how to spell that C version.

PoldarksBreeches · 02/10/2016 17:01

It's not a great name really but if you love it, then Kayleigh

LunaLoveg00d · 02/10/2016 16:59

Neither. It's the 1980s equivalent of Lily-Rose or Ava-Mae.

Don't like Kaylee, Kaylie, Kylie, Kayleigh, Kay-Lee or any of the other millions of ways you could dream up to spell it.

ApollO88 · 02/10/2016 14:59

I'm a Kayley

Cluesue · 02/10/2016 14:48

I know a kailea

eachtigertires · 02/10/2016 14:47

Kaley

Pipilangstrumpf · 30/09/2016 14:19

I actually prefer the simpler Kaylee - that is easy to spell and pronounce.

hoddtastic · 30/09/2016 00:46

Do you have other names on your list as this is a bit 80s

bluebirdx · 30/09/2016 00:25

KayleyHmm

seven201 · 29/09/2016 22:27

Kayleigh definitely

CremeEggThief · 29/09/2016 22:12

I know someone who's in her early 30s who spells it Kayliegh.

katemess12 · 29/09/2016 22:09

This name bothers me purely because there doesn't seem to be one accepted spelling for it.

I prefer the look of Kaylie because I don't like -eigh spellings.

I'd probably spell it Kaley, personally.
