We are debating if we should go with Simon or Paul??

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Evergreen17 · 25/09/2016 05:58

Can I go for none? Sorry, Simon is terrible and Paul is for an older man, maybe one that plays the guitar left-handed

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 25/09/2016 05:54

Paul is great.

Not keen on Simon

Optimist3 · 25/09/2016 05:52

Gus is great

BlossomHillOne · 25/09/2016 05:38

Keeping in with the Paul Simon theme...

Gus, Roy, Stan, Lee, Sam.

Optimist3 · 25/09/2016 04:45

Eric or Samuel are also nicely retro

Optimist3 · 25/09/2016 04:41

Matthew is a retro name I like. Paul and Simon less so. Much less so infant.

Glastokitty · 25/09/2016 04:08

I have cousins called Simon Paul and Amanda. We are all in our 40s, to me they are retro 70s/80s names. Not a fan really.

KoalaDownUnder · 25/09/2016 03:58

Paul is awful.

Simon is nicer.

CrystalMcPistol · 25/09/2016 03:57

Garfunkel.

CakeRattleandRoll · 25/09/2016 03:56

Paul

elephantoverthehill · 24/09/2016 23:13

Art.

PunkrockerGirl · 24/09/2016 23:10

I like both, but particularly Simon. It's not that common these days, so unusual(ish) but not ridiculous or made up.

MulberryBush12 · 24/09/2016 23:06

Paul is a lovely name.

DramaAlpaca · 24/09/2016 23:02

I'd go with Simon, I quite like it.

Sophronia · 24/09/2016 22:46

Both quite unusual nowadays - I like them! Think I'd go with Paul

dontpokethebear · 24/09/2016 22:45

I should have said husband!

He is not a wanker all the time

dontpokethebear · 24/09/2016 22:43

chippednailvarnish you have perfectly described my 43 year old Paul Grin

TeaAndALemonTart · 24/09/2016 22:41

Paul is awful. I feel really sorry for Sam Faiers who had to call her baby that, as it was her boyfriend's tradition.

He's called baby Paul and it sounds terrible.

squoosh · 24/09/2016 22:41

There are way too many Pauls in the world as it is. Sometimes it feels like every other man is called Paul.

So that leaves Simon I suppose.

SueDunome · 24/09/2016 22:38

Fauchelevent Grin

MumOfTwoMasterOfNone · 24/09/2016 22:36

I'm not a fan of either sorry OP. Plus most Pauls I know are total, total wankers. And unfortunately I know a few (due to my age I think). Look up the meaning, I'm sure it says 'wanker originally from the area of wanksville' or something very similar Grin

Fauchelevent · 24/09/2016 22:24

Paul Simon?

Floralnomad · 24/09/2016 22:15

Simon is lovely , not keen on Paul .

Chippednailvarnishing · 24/09/2016 22:13

Sorry but Simon and Paul are names for 30 year old blokes who enjoy train spotting and garden centres.

Vixxfacee · 24/09/2016 22:11

Both names are really terrible.
