Will I regret this name choice? Would you know how to pronounce it? Seer-sha.

We are in Scotland which I think does make a difference. DH has irish roots.

I'm just worried my child would spend her life correcting the pronunciation of her name. (And surname)

What are your thoughts mumsnetters?

I love this name. Was on my shortlist for DD.

My only reservation was that it's the name of Sinn Feinn's newsletter/magazine thing. But I was I hadn't given a fuck about that now because it's such a beautiful name.

Go for it.

I like it.

I've always liked the look of it but never known how to pronounce it Blush but there are lots of names I don't know how to pronounce so if you like it, use it!

I looked at it and couldn't make out how to say it, thought it was Sa-Or-Eece.
