Sister for Eliza

We need to come up with a name for the little sister of Eliza Rose (due early 2017).

We like names that are familiar but not overly common, which is how we ended up with Eliza (shorted to Lize or Ellie) and I'd like something equally "punchy" yet girly and vowel heavy; so we're finding it hard to come up with baby number two's name.

So far on our shortlist are:
Amelia (not exactly uncommon)
Matilda (ditto)
Imogen
Lara
Violet (DH not a fan)
Emilia (too similar?)
Emily (two E names)

We can't use any Bel/Belle ending names due to surname. Other names off limits include:
Ruby
Hazel
Zara
Zadie
Florence
Any K names

Middle name is not yet decided, Grace and Kate are current front runners. Mae is off limits too.

Our surname is two syllables and beings with a K.

Looking forward to hearing your suggestions ladies!

Imogen from your list but Harriet sounds good.

tellyjots · 10/09/2016 07:08

Lara and Imogen from your list. I also like Isla and Iona which would work with Grace as a middle name.

Cousinit · 10/09/2016 07:01

Was coming on here to suggest Amelia and then saw it is first on your list Smile

NapQueen · 10/09/2016 06:28

Eliza and

Olive
Freya
Willow
Bridie
Harriet

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 10/09/2016 06:06

I don't think anyone has suggested Genevieve yet.
I love that you can shorten it to suit:
Jen
Jenny
Eve
Evie
Viv

And I think it's a strong yet feminine name
