Edith or Seren? Born in 6 days!

Hi everyone,
We already have an Ella and an Austin... And soon to be little lady. Having a dilemma between Seren or Edith, or any others you think may suit Confused please can you help? Many thanks x

Seren is a very common name near where I used to live (gwynedd), but not in England.
Eira is a nice welsh one too.

Seren is okay, but reminds me of Soren, which is a masculine name.

I think Seren is the better fit with your other children, but I'd wait and see until she's here. She doesn't need a name straight away so I wouldn't commit yourself now.

Seren for me! I know old names are back in fashion but I find Edith too old lady still. Seren is a bit different. it might be misheard as Sarah though, but I don't think that should put you off.

This is so reassuring, thank you... It's so difficult naming the third when you know so many other children, want to be a little different, but not too 'out there' for the baby's sake! X

Serena is common here, there are 2 in ds's class. It is a lovely name though.

Although I do think Edith is a lovely name. I prefer Seren especially with your other children's names. I think different initials would be nice and gives each child a bit more individuality for when they are older.

Seren because I have one and she is awesome!!!
Do you live in Wales? We do but are from England and it's not a well known name in England, we get lots of compliments on it.

Most annoying thing was when someone asked me if it was short for Serendipity though. I mean seriously?!!

Not a fan of the older names coming back so Seren. Our DD2 wasn't named for a good few days whilst we decided.
