Currently 14 weeks pg and Ive got a feeling its boys so hit me with your suggestions! No matter how ordinary or outlandish we will consider everything Smile i dont have any boys names at all on any shortlist.

OP posts:

we have an Ezra, 13 months old, always loved the name and never met another Ezra, but apparently it's the number one boys name this year!

I seriously doubt it! There's no way it's bounced hundreds of places up the chart to knock Oliver off its pedestal.

Marmaduke

I have a Toby and he's gorgeous 😊

Anbelmum · 29/08/2016 11:21

If I have boys they will be Toby and Rory

Jaimelannister - albus Severus? Or James Sirius? Personally I'd go for Sirius James Albus Severus, but my dh wouldn't allow Wink

Max is a very good name but I might be biased!

My favourite name of all time is Abel but my dh wouldn't allow that either!!

Sorry, slightly off-topic but just wanted to reassure you Milk: Ezra is not the most popular name of the year - at, least, the official nation-wide stats aren't realeased until 2nd September so there's no way we'd know yet (it's highly unlikely though). The stats that are floating around at the moment are just about the names that have got most attention/use among members on certain sites, or have seen the biggest increase in interest from previous years. I think Ezra will have climbed - possibly even into the top 100 - but I doubt it will be anywhere near the top 10 for 2015.

Anyway, an amazing boy's name: Maximilian. Literally means "the greatest". I love it and would totally use it, but unfortunately I married one Sad

My husband doesn't like Gabe so we always just use his full name. When we picked it, it was unpopular but I've met a few more Gabriels recently.

GrumpyDullard · 28/08/2016 20:44

Jerome. Why has no one suggested it yet? It's clearly the best boy's name. Also Reuben.

Whitecovers · 28/08/2016 20:44

Youngest was nearly Irah. Can't remember why we didn't go for it.

Gabe is a shortened form of Gabriel.
