Please help!

We want to honour my Uncle Raymond who saved my life as a child...long story... and are having a girl so want Ramona as a middle name and a name just for her as a first. Having real trouble putting anything I like with it that goes and that my OH will tolerate. Some he's vetoed are Lois Hazel Alice and Iris. What do you suggest please?

Bunty, I know that you are set on Ramona, which is a lovely name, in honour of your late Uncle Raymond.
I know a little girl named Raymonda, with the accent strongly on the second syllable. Her pet name is Ray. Just thought I'd put that forward.
Some nice names have been suggested, hope you find one that you like.

Thank you! My OH won't have it as a first name as he thinks she'll be called Rammy or Moaner Hmm I love Robyn and Sadie. He pulled a face. He wants Morven. God knows what nn he thinks she'll have!

I love Ramona and would have that as the first name. Dd2 was nearly a Ramona after the books.

I think you should just choose a name you like and not worry about whether it goes with Ramona. In my family all middle names are after somebody in the family so quite often first and second names don't really flow. It doesn't matter, nobody ever really uses middle names anyway.

I love Ramona though and have it on my list, others I like are Erica, Robin, Juliette and Rosalind.
