I don't see why you would have to name her Madeleine or Madison if you don't want to.
If you want her to be known as Maddie, then go for it.

Absolutely fine.

SteviebunsBottrittrundle · 27/08/2016 21:54

It's fine. I don't really like Madeline or Maddison, but Maddie is ok. I wouldn't go for any of the three personally (sorry) but if had to, I'd pick Maddie.

NotTodaySatan · 27/08/2016 21:07

Maddie is fine Smile.

And infinitely preferable to Madison.

Maybebabybee · 27/08/2016 21:05

I think it's fine but my son has a nickname version of a "long" name...think Nick instead of Nicholas, but it's not that Smile

No

Madeleine or Madison with maddie as a nn

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 27/08/2016 21:02

Please give her the option of Madeleine.

You can always use Maddie but she might prefer a 'proper' name when she's older, and to put on CVs, etc.
