Christmassy boys names

We are expecting DC3 in December. Not looking for girl's names - DC1 & 2 are boys, so we've got a good idea of favourite girl's names for our shortlist.

One thing we've considered is whether to have a seasonal name, but we're struggling to think of many boy ones except Noel and Robin, which neither of us like. Any Christmassy boy's name suggestions?

Nadal means Christmas in Catalan. Rafael Nadal has it as a surname, but is also a first name in its own right.

I think my favourites out of the names suggested are Joseph, Casper and Gabriel.

Stephen is nice but is it a bit dated these days? I've met a fair few Stephen's but can't think of any I know under 30 years old.

Whathaveilost - maybe it's an accent thing? Or a hangover from DH's school days....

ALL Irish male Christmas babies used to be called Stephen. Probably not so much anymore.

squoosh · 25/08/2016 14:25

I'd ditch the seasonal name idea.

Theodore, named after the bloke in my favourite Christmas-time book, Little Women. Bit of a stretch, though.
