Olivia

Asuitablemum · 20/08/2016 21:43

Violet or Olivia

thatsnotmybabyname · 20/08/2016 21:42

Violet is my favourite from that list

user1471501988 · 20/08/2016 21:30

Olivia

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 20/08/2016 21:08

It's too hard to say without knowing the name that'll go after.

Free choice I'd go for Layla, say it like it is and avoid a life time of correcting Leye la.

Ohsofat · 20/08/2016 20:54

Definitely Leila

bakeoffcake · 20/08/2016 20:51

I hadn't even thought of that choco.

You've put me off now Grin

Jooni · 20/08/2016 18:26

Love Violet. Olivia would be (a distant) second.

chocoLit · 20/08/2016 09:22

bakeofcake I feel the same about Scarlet and can't imagine why anyone would want to name a baby something with the word 'scar' in it Grin

bakeoffcake · 20/08/2016 08:54

I really don't like Violet. It reminds me too much of Violent.

Scarlet is my favourite with Lettie as nn.

Only1scoop · 20/08/2016 08:54

Violet by a mile

chocoLit · 20/08/2016 08:52

Violet

hollieberrie · 20/08/2016 08:49

Leila. I prefer the Layla spelling otherwise many people will say it as Leela.

To me Olivia is horrid name, so harsh sounding, and as an early yeas teacher I can tell you there are thousands of Olivias.

Scarlett is also nice.

MouldyPeach · 20/08/2016 08:44

I love Melody, such a pretty name and not very widely used. Only thing that would put me off would be Mel as NN

Dontrocktheboat · 20/08/2016 08:38

Violet definitely.
Olivia and Leila are pretty but over done.
Don't really like Scarlett (although do know one with amazing red hair who really suits it but otherwise not keen).
Melody is awful, sorry. What if she can't sing a note?

LowAMH · 19/08/2016 23:04

I like all except melody

rosegoldie · 19/08/2016 22:58

Violet

candykane25 · 19/08/2016 22:47

Violet.

Two of our names are colours.

How about
Ruby
Poppy
Carmina

Other v names

Velvet
Vivienne
Valentin

TrappedNerve · 19/08/2016 22:45

When are you due op? Autumn is a lovely girls name.

albertcampionscat · 19/08/2016 22:44

Violet. Viola is even better.

TrappedNerve · 19/08/2016 22:43

None really- sorry :(

If I had to pick one though it would be violet.

Prefer daisy or poppy as flower names.

I love the name Lola and when I was younger I wanted to be called either Darrell ( think Malory towers ) or Astrid ( god only knows why )

Maybe because my name is completely boring Grin

Sophronia · 19/08/2016 22:42

Olivia

Yestotallyunreasonable · 19/08/2016 22:37

Leila

ClockMakerSue · 19/08/2016 22:37

Violet is my favourite. Where I am, Olivia is a fairly popular name and whilst I like it, it's just used too much for me to want to. Violet is of a similar sound - really lovely!

AmysTiara · 19/08/2016 22:35

Violet. I don't like Olivia at all.
