Anakin or Kirk

DSis is having a boy and want's to name him either Anakin or Kirk as you've probably guessed she's a big fan of Star Wars/Star Trek.

She's not budging, so which do you prefer?

I actually prefer Anakin, Kirk just doesn't nice to my ears, but I'm hoping this is all hormones and she'll name the lad James instead.

Kirk, that way everybody will guess Star Trek but won't be sure... With anakin there is no doubt where the name came from!

Obviously Kirk. Young Anakin was a whinge then he was boring and evil then he was Darts Bader, plus he would get "oh Annie" all his life. Kirk was a bit of a douche but he got promotions and saved the day and always got the girl.

Kirk if she must have one of those. Luke is much nicer if she wants a star wars connection though.
