Hi, new here, looking for some help.
My wife is due in August, will be our second baby - Cillian Francis is our 2-year old. If it's a baby girl were both happy with Niamh, if it's a boy we're stuck........ Being honest no boys names really stand out for me, I guess I'm just so convinced it's a baby girl were having. So..... my wife is in love with the boys name Cońan, when I see it all I can imagine is the Conan the barbarian. Most don't but I do. Other names she has mentioned are Rońan, Patrick, Sean and Gerard. Gerard being my fav outta those. What do you guys think? And maybe anything you could suggest?

Thanks guys X

Ronan (does the fada make it Roe-nawn)? I like either with or without fada.

I also like Patrick but prefer Ronan. I also think of Conan the barbarian but not so much that it puts me off the name but maybe two C names might be confusing with post and things? Just a thought.

Cillian Francis is lovely too (not that it's relevant).

I think there is still too much info there OP.
You are obviously Irish and Ireland being so small.....everybody knows each other or their first cousin Smile
I'd remove your dd's second name if I were you.
Congrats by the way.
What about Connell?
Breifne ?
Tiarnán ?
Tarlach ?
Gerard is nice - he'll end up being Gerry or Ger. It's now not popular so will be unusual.
St. Gerard Majella - patron saint of mothers according to my dm.

ewan if you report your post they will delete the identifying info

it's just that you have put your while child's name on here and your wife's full name -most people prefer not to do that

what about aiden? connall? finn?
