I knew a girl named Clover when I was younger. She was a bit of a drop and not cool enough to pull off a name like this. And it is a name that you have to be cool to pull off, unfortunately.

Teddy1970 · 06/07/2016 20:08

No, I don't like it, Clover just reminds me of butter I'm afraid..

OneLongDay · 06/07/2016 20:01

Sorry it's a rabbit name

Sophia the first

Wolfiefan · 06/07/2016 19:56

Milktwosugars is right.
Clover is the bunny off Sophia the First!!!!

PotteringAlong · 06/07/2016 19:53

Love it!

1805 · 06/07/2016 19:52

I know a Clover (age 10). tbh, at first I thought eh? But as you get used to it I quite like it now! And the girl is lovely too!!!

gonetoseeamanaboutadog · 06/07/2016 19:50

I love it.

twirlywoo69 · 06/07/2016 19:46

Awful sorry

MrsGsnow18 · 06/07/2016 19:46

I actually like it, never really heard of anyone called Clover. The only thing that slightly puts me off is someone mentioning the Clover advert however I haven't seen those adverts in a very, very long time so not really relevant for young people today in my opinion.

I know a Clover in her sixties. She's wonderful, which is maybe part of the reason I like Clover as a name :)

MilkTwoSugarsThanks · 06/07/2016 19:18

Cow?

It's a rabbit's name!

Creatureofthenight · 06/07/2016 19:16

I've always liked it ever since I read 'What Katy did', but I don't think I'd use it as what PPs say is true, it makes a lot of people think of a cow.

lornathewizzard · 06/07/2016 19:14

An animal name for me I'm afraid.

Pipilangstrumpf · 06/07/2016 19:04

Not a very feminine name imo

Ilovewillow · 06/07/2016 19:02

Adorable name!

Wolfiefan · 06/07/2016 19:00

Dog off This Morning
Butter substitute.
No. Not Clover!

puffinpants · 06/07/2016 19:00

Makes me think of margarine I'm afraid. However, I can see it working- just be aware that every kid will make the association with buttery spread.

fruityb · 06/07/2016 18:57

Watership Down is all I can think of but then I do also think it's quite sweet.

Agadooo · 06/07/2016 18:54

Have to agree about it making me think of butter or cows

Twinkie1 · 06/07/2016 18:53

Moo

I love the name but maybe as a middle name?

beenaroundawhile · 06/07/2016 18:52

I rode a horse called clover for years, she was lovely. Very dependable, strong, gentle yet strong willed, if anything rather on the dull side. I wouldn't use for a child.

ExitPursuedByABear · 06/07/2016 18:51

It's a lovely name.

thundercake · 06/07/2016 18:50

I like it, and I've no preconceptions about it. Never met a cow called clover!
