We are down to two names...

Less than a month to go and we have been set on two names for the last 5 months.

Just not any closer to deciding between them! Love them both, wish we were having twin boys!!

What's your preference? Neither isn't gonna help at this point haha! If you had to pick one....? We have a single syllable surname x

  1. Jackson Troy
  2. Seth Tyler

I'd switch them around and have Jackson Seth or Seth Jackson. Not keen on Tyler or Troy.

Pipilangstrumpf · 30/06/2016 18:48

Seth if I had to choose :)

GameOfGroans · 30/06/2016 18:51

What Sophronia said. Troy has a dated early 1980s vibe to it - you can nearly see the day-glo batwing sleeves - and Tyler just makes me think about grouting.

calilark · 30/06/2016 19:00

Seth Jackson. Tyler and Troy aren't good names

MarianneSolong · 30/06/2016 19:03

Might be as well to read Cold Comfort Farm to find out more about Seth?

SpongeCakeBigPants · 30/06/2016 19:10

I like Jackson Troy Smile

MrsHathaway · 30/06/2016 19:11

Seth by a mile.

Oly5 · 30/06/2016 19:11

Dislike them both sorry! But Seth if o had to choose

trianglecheese · 30/06/2016 19:11

Yup Seth Jackson for me too. Really dislike the name Tyler.

Wishfulmakeupping · 30/06/2016 19:12

Seth jackson

CointreauVersial · 30/06/2016 19:12

Seth

BoboBunnyH0p · 30/06/2016 20:27

I like Seth it was on my list for ds but DH vetoed it.

BestingRichFace · 30/06/2016 20:34

I'd pick Jackson. Seth is a playground insult where I'm from.

Mrsraypurchase · 30/06/2016 20:48

Jackson is a surname to me.

libellule1 · 30/06/2016 21:35

Jackson, goes better with a single syllable surname.

mellmumma · 01/07/2016 09:42

Thanks everyone for input. However definitely won't be changing the names in any way. We adore both names (which is all that matters) and obviously we considered Seth Jackson etc but we don't like it the same way we like the other two.

It is really just a question of 1 or 2... We just can't choose... Hoping when we meet him we'll just know....

Failing that I hope we have another boy one day to use the other name haha! X

Seth is so much nicer. Biblical type name, but more unusual than Daniel, Jacob, etc.

I know a lot of people are using Jackson now, but it doesn't seem like a proper name to me, as it is actually a surname meaning 'Jack's son'. Jack itself is nice, though very popular.

Not that fond of Troy or Tyler (Tyler is slightly better) but they are OK as middle names. Or Jackson as a middle name would be OK.

Wenchelda · 01/07/2016 21:08

Seth Tyler

EllaHen · 01/07/2016 21:11

Jackson Troy for me. Smile

gracefull · 01/07/2016 21:18

Madbengalmum · 02/07/2016 20:46
