So basically unusual, but not too weird!

So far love Ezra and Theo.

Really need some inspiration as been trawling site for months and can't find anything apart from lovely girls names!

Ah yes. I must be getting all confused with the Indigo girl/boy debate Grin

florascotianew · 28/06/2016 19:33

Io is a female name. In Greek mythology, Io was a princess seduced by the god Zeus.

Are people perhaps thinking of Inigo as a boy's name, rather than Indigo, which is much more commonly used for girls? This site shows relative figures (13 boys in 2014 and 73 girls) names.darkgreener.com/#indigo

Ezra and Theo aren't unusual - I've heard of several baby Ezras recently and, though I've never met a little Theo, I keep reading on here that it's become very popular. It's no bad thing IMO, but if you are looking for unusual names, I just wanted to point out that they aren't really.

BendydickCuminsnatch · 28/06/2016 18:44

What about Io?? I think that's pretty cool.

user1465823522 · 28/06/2016 18:32

i assume they are both nicknames? naming a child is personal but you have to remember that their name is what they will be judged on forever

ItchyFoot · 28/06/2016 18:27

My dd is Indigo. But apparently it's a boys name. Unisex?

BendydickCuminsnatch · 28/06/2016 18:25

I know a girl called Indigo, sisters called Aubrey and Dolce.

BendydickCuminsnatch · 28/06/2016 18:25

Ooh at the park yesterday there was a boy called Django?

SophieofShepherdsBush · 28/06/2016 18:20

Torben

Artandco · 28/06/2016 18:10

Indigo is a boys name though. Girls would be India or Indiana

WellErrr · 28/06/2016 17:56

Jago, Petroc, Govan

ItchyFoot · 28/06/2016 17:55

I was told Indigo was a boys name when I named dd. Love Ezra. Odin was our choice if this one had been a boy.

Swearwolf · 28/06/2016 17:54

Phaedra is usually a girl's name though...

ifigoup · 28/06/2016 17:37

Peaches Geldof's boys are called Astala and Phaedra.

BendydickCuminsnatch · 28/06/2016 17:34

Both Tobys are Tobiases btw

BendydickCuminsnatch · 28/06/2016 17:33

Yep ^^ Theo very popular... But so is Toby! 2 in one baby group I go to and loads more around.

Love Ezra though (love Theo too but doesn't meet your requirements).

Asher, Archer?

Swearwolf · 28/06/2016 16:52

Sorry if this is unhelpful input, but Theo is actually really popular! It's lovely, but I'd strike it from your list if you want something unusual.

What about Tobias?

nectarini1983 · 28/06/2016 09:49

Oops...Love!

nectarini1983 · 28/06/2016 09:49
