Nicknames for Felicity...

That aren't Fliss or Flick? (Or City, which I can't imagine anyone would actually suggest but is a reasonable shortening!)

Any ideas!?

I loved Felicity for DD but u just couldn't find a nn I could live with (and all the felicitys that I have met do inevitably get one as it's s mouthful) so we chose something else. If I had to pick, I'd have gone with Flossie. X

I know one Fliss and one double barrelled with one syllable middle name eg Felicity-Jane.

Our Felicity is Tilly Floss. DD1 came up with it and it stuck :)

What I mean is call her Felicity but as you form your relationship with her little pet names will come into play and you may use those instead. DC2 has a 3 letter name, I generally refer to him by A - a 4 letter word or B - a 12 letter word although he knows what his actual name is

If you really dislike the standard nn then don't use the name - you can only control it so far, once your dd or her friends can decide for themselves what you think is irrelevant

Kick? I had a friend a jillion years ago called Felicity and she was always just Kick to us. Looking back, it was so cute and yet had a nice little sting.

Iguessyourestuckwithme - yes I know a couple of people with completely unrelated nn's, and definitely open to them, but I feel like those sort of names need to grow and develop on their own, rather than being imposed from the start.

Nicknames don't have to be name associative - I know a Mouse [Amelia] Quack [Zachary] Podge [James] Teeny [Jessica] Bear [Freddie]

Fizzy is adorable! I've not heard that before. I know a Tizzie (short for Elizabeth) and always liked that.

I have a Felicity and we call her Liss or Lic'ty (which is what her older brother used to call her).
