This is DS born yesterday. DH likes Reuben, I like Alec. Neither of us like the others choice so we need help to come up with something we can both agree on. Here he is...

He's gorgeous. I want him. Squeeeeeeeeee. Grin.
He looks like a Michael

Maverick66 · 24/06/2016 20:40

Sorry that should be Zenon

Maverick66 · 24/06/2016 20:39

Xenon

Fletcherl · 24/06/2016 20:37

Why not go with Heath then.

BikeRunSki · 24/06/2016 20:36

Amos

Alexander, nn Alec/x (I personally prefer Alec) would be cute :)

I agree with a previous poster, Samuel would be really cute as well.
What about Samuel Alec nn Alec?

daisydalrymple · 24/06/2016 20:07

Ps I do think he looks like a Reuben, and also like the Benjamin suggestion X

daisydalrymple · 24/06/2016 20:05

Gorgeous! Historic day to be born Grin you could always go with something historically political like Edward (Heath - who was pm when we joined the eu) or obviously Boris Nigel springs to mind if you're of the other camp Grin huge congratulations, what a lovely thread amongst the many others sparked by events from yesterday, this surely has to be the best one! Hope it was a speedy happy delivery, and you're all doing well

Lucas!

RedYellow046 · 24/06/2016 19:57

Sebastian, Joshua, Thomas, Edward?

Notsure1234 · 24/06/2016 19:55

Congratulations, he's gorgeous.

I think Samuel suits him. I also think he could be a Reuben.

kiki22 · 24/06/2016 19:47

How about James?

septembersunshine · 24/06/2016 19:39

...but actually, second thoughts he does look like a Sam (Samuel) he looks like he needs a soft sounding name!

septembersunshine · 24/06/2016 19:38

Alexander Rueben and you can have Alex or Alec as a nickname. My husband is an Alexander and it's a fab name! I can't see him being called Rueben either - he would suit Benjamin more. He is so cute - congratulations!

Or:
Aidan
Christopher
Oliver
Thomas
Harry
Tobias (Toby)
Edward (Eddie)

PotatoBread · 24/06/2016 17:31

He's beautiful - congrats Flowers

I much prefer Alex to Alec. If you go with Alexander you'll have a choice of names such as Alex or Xander as another poster suggested.

He doesn't look like a Rueban!

CoffeeCoffeeAndLotsOfIt · 24/06/2016 17:30

He's gorgeous. He looks like a Samuel to me.
