I really like it. What do you think?

Pahahahaha!! As a farmer I saw farrow and immediately thought 'pigs giving birth.'

This is why mumsnet is so precious. Just THINK if no one had told you?

seafoodeatit · 08/06/2016 16:59

I too just think of the paint.

user12785 · 08/06/2016 16:40

Pigs giving birth...

mrsschu · 08/06/2016 16:39

It's dreadful. As is Farrell. Farrow makes me think of either Farrow & Ball or the word "furrow". And after reading the comments it makes me think of pigs giving birth...

RortyCrankle · 08/06/2016 16:37

Sorry but it's horrible

disappoint15 · 08/06/2016 15:26

Sows. Farrow and Ball paint. Furrow (as in brow, or ploughing).

redhat · 08/06/2016 15:22

Sorry OP, a lifetime of nicknames relating to his balls. Definitely don't go there.

MrsJoeyMaynard · 08/06/2016 15:21

It sounds very agricultural.

TamaraHiddlestoned · 08/06/2016 13:52

Farrow? Is it me you're looking for?

Miloarmadillo1 · 08/06/2016 13:51

Pigs farrowing. Not good, sorry!

MidnightVelvetthe5th · 08/06/2016 13:50

First thought is farrowing pigs which then leads on to a James Herriot story where a sow burst an abcess on her ear.

Second though is Blackadder, in the episode with Ponsonby & Farrow, where Lady Farrow petitions the queen & is accused by Blackadder of being an interfering strumpet who goes blabbing to the queen. He wears a bag on his head.

I don't like it as a name, sorry OP.

Fridgedooropen · 08/06/2016 13:49

Immediate associations '...and Ball', or 'Mia'. Not good.

PuraVida · 08/06/2016 13:46

It's very farmy

LoucheLady · 08/06/2016 13:34

Yep. Farrowing pigs. Not good.

I like it. I do know a Farrow, female though but I think it's nice for a boy too. Can't see kids making a connection between the name and some posh paint either.

Porcupinetree · 08/06/2016 12:27

It's definitely a pig giving birth .

Cakescakescakes · 08/06/2016 12:18

The pig thing is a veto I think!

MariaSklodowska · 08/06/2016 12:18

also made me think of pigs or paint. Horrible.

RiverTam · 08/06/2016 12:16

Paint.

Dontrocktheboat · 08/06/2016 12:15

Made me think of pigs!

MsDe · 08/06/2016 12:12

I really liked the name Willow for a girl, but now we've found out we're are having a little boy. I guess I thought it sounded... strong? I don't know now. Pig birthing may have killed it down dead.

Farrow
Barrow
Marrow

Is he going to be a farmer?

SnoozeButtonAbuser · 08/06/2016 10:29

Lovely, except that people will always be giving him a sodding ball and then sniggering "look it's Farrow and ball hahaha". You'll get sick of that shit loooooong before he does.

Millyonthefloss · 08/06/2016 10:27

I would be worried about nicknames involving Balls
