and flowerpower. 'Ava' is an established girls' name, Marlowe is a surname , hardly comparable.

I like it a bit different but so was Ava 8 years ago but there's loads of them now your child your choice after all you have to say it hundred times a day

I have a Titi (Aunty) Marlo..
Love love love the name Marlo.... Marlowe not so much as it is very masculine.

Marla or Marlie much nicer. Surnames as first names are not very appealing to me, especially on girls. Very unfeminine.

I really like it. Very cool and much more sophisticated than Marlie/Marley imo. It's true Sienna Miller's daughter is called Marlowe. It was on our long list but we went with Margot - different style - good job as we totally randomly ended up living in Marlowe for a bit :). So long as you know she will never be 'Marlowe from Marlowe' then use it!
