Naming a baby is so hard!! I think we have agreed on Eden nn Edie for girl however there's no boys names that I love.
Names I like but can't use for one reason or another are Oscar, Hugo, Freddie Arthur and Alfie. If I like them what else am I likely to like?

I know a 3 year old Eden, nicknamed Edie. Nobody misspells it, nobody mispronounces it, nobody struggles with it. It's beautiful and totally suits her.

Jesse is lovely!

septembersunshine · 10/06/2016 14:54

I know a little girl called Edie. She is just that alone and it's not short for anything.

We really struggled for a boys name (so I am probably the last person who should comment!). What about Sebastian (nn Seb?), Alexander (nn Xander) or Zachary? We are (in the end) going with Aidan. I liked Daniel and DH didn't. He wanted Frederick or Alerick but went off them both himself in the end. At least I get my 'Dan' sound at the end!

The only Eden I know is a boy (in his twenties now). You could definitely use it for either gender.

I absolutely love Eden. I may just be ever so slightly biased though 😚

Eden is beautiful
I was going to suggest Albert, but Jesse is really nice too.

LadyAntonella · 27/05/2016 13:26

I'm not all that terribly keen on Jesse but it's quite nice, just wouldn't be my favourite.

Ludways · 27/05/2016 13:17

I've always loved Jesse but clashes awful with my surname.

BlueChampagne · 27/05/2016 13:01

I would think that Edie could get mispronounced as Edd-ie as in a nickname for Ed.
