Does a BOYS' name exist that isn't overly popular, sound similar to something overly popular, about to become overly popular or just plain boring or dated?

Blatantly plagiarising from another poster's thread but I have been wondering this about boys' names. DH & I are expecting our first baby in September and we've agreed on a girls' name but have absolutely no idea what to call our baby if it's a boy (we don't know the sex).

All suggestions would be much appreciated!

May be biased but how about Troy? It is the name of my cat but he is handsome, well behaved, placid and loving. It's a name that can't be shortened either 😀

Ha, I wish I knew. This is my fifth DS and I am completely out of names. I don't like anything.
