I really like it.

I associate it with Princess Adora, whose alter ego was She-Ra, and was the twin sister of Prince Adam (aka He-Man). Letting my geeky side show there.

An alternative you might like is Adara, which is a Hebrew name, meaning noble.

Adora has a nice sound, but it's a bit OTT really - sounds like 'adore-her', so comes across as quite twee.

What's wrong with just Dora? Or there's Amadora, Isadora, Medora.

Loved the character Adorabelle Dearhreart from TP.

I wouldn't personally choose it as a name. What about Dora as the name on the certificate and Adora as a nickname?

Me too Midnight, she's actually called Adora Belle Dearheart. She hates it IIRC and her nicknames are Spike and Killer :)

But I don't mind it!

First thought is Terry Pratchett & his character Adora Dearheart.

I don't like it, it belongs in the same category as Angel, Dreambelle, Chardonnay, Mercedes etc

I hope your surname is bull.

At the end of the day it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. She probs would get called adorable at school at some point but that will be annoying rather than anything else. My name is a song title and I learnt to own it rather than get annoyed with it. Also, how many boys called Richard get called Dick at school? I wouldn't worry.
