Just that really! Which would you choose? Thanks

Thank you everyone. Bit of a mixed reaction which is the problem!

Harriet.

Even the fact that you have to specify how it's pronounced would put me off. She would be forever called Eleanor by mistake.

CruCru · 26/04/2016 20:44

Both are lovely but all the Helenas I've known have pronounced it Hel-ay-na.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 26/04/2016 17:01

Helena. Classy elegant and very pretty, as is Harriet, but. It's been done to death.

Wheels1986 · 26/04/2016 16:20

Harriet! Love Hattie for short :) It's top of my list my it's my brother's girlfriend's name - gutted :(

WhiteHairReally · 26/04/2016 14:20

Helena. DC2 would have been Helena Maud if he hadn't been a DS.

KoalaDownUnder · 26/04/2016 14:15

Helena.

I really dislike Harriet. It reminds me of 'harried' as in m, 'I'm feeling harried'.

1horatio · 22/04/2016 18:08

Helena is pretty. But for some reason I prefer Harriet...

MadameDePompom · 22/04/2016 13:09

Helena.

Harriet just isn't in the same league. It's not even in the vicinity of the league.

marjolaine · 22/04/2016 12:29

Helena

TempsPerdu · 22/04/2016 12:27

Helena for me - it just feels more elegant.

MrsMarigold · 22/04/2016 11:52

Harriet is my favourite, but Helena is good too, they were both on my shortlist.

IoraRua · 21/04/2016 21:22

Not keen on your Helena pronunciation but I hate Harriet so I'll go with Helena.

Not sure what exactly I dislike about Harriet. It just irritates me, for some bizarre reason.

ABitAsleep · 18/04/2016 13:16
