Hi all on here,

I'm a very long time lurker - have been since my first ever pregnancy. However, unfortunately, we haven't had a child since a couple of weeks ago. IVF and 6 years later, 3 little miracles entered the world and they belong to us. I haven't wanted to take part with all the threads until I was officially a mummy. They are almost 3 weeks and I can just about begin to see their personalities come through, as multiples tend to be early, I've only just really been able to spend lots of time with them. Names are now a must.

Yes, we have had lots of ideas, but we have to think of 6 perfect names and that's becoming a really difficult task. We thought about family names, but none are particularly lovely. However, we are fans of 'filler' middle names, but I know they're not particularly liked on here, but if none sound right with our chosen names, we may not have middle names, as much to my family's disgust! We just haven't decided.

Sorry about the long post! We have 2 daughters and a son... Boys names are therefore a lot easier. Yeah, we have a lot of ideas, but there's just too many.

We like classics for boys or biblical, so names like:
Alexander
Benjamin
Charles
Daniel
Henry
Jacob
James
Louis
Matthew
Oliver
William

For girls, we vary a lot, we like such a variety:
Annabelle
Charlotte
Ella
Grace
Isabella
Lily
Olivia
Rose

There are more and definitely open to suggestions.

Thank you all so much and very pleased to be a part of this community :)

Congratulations they are so beautiful,
Matthew,
Charlotte,
Isabella.

Ludways · 09/04/2016 23:45

Oh and... Congratulations x3

It's great being a mum!

Ludways · 09/04/2016 23:44

Matthew, Grace & Anna

Don't give them three long names, you'll regret it when you're writing cards and Christmas tags, lol

DoSomethingKirsty · 09/04/2016 23:38

Charlotte, Isabella and James - congratulations!

Sophronia · 09/04/2016 22:50

Congratulations! Matthew, Grace and Rose would be my picks from your list.

marshmallowpies · 09/04/2016 21:39

Annabelle and Charlotte would be my 'girl' choices from your list, for sure - they go nicely together and are about the same length. I like Olivia too but it is very popular at the moment.

Annabelle Jane and Charlotte Grace are both lovely, with short middle names to balance the longer names. Or Annabelle Hope, as Hope would go well with Grace.

Boys names I like particularly from your list are Henry, William, Louis, Oliver, Alexander (although actually I like all of the others too!). For a middle name with a meaning, I like Felix, as it means 'happy' - my DNephew who was a preemie is called Felix as my DB and DSIL wanted a name that signified something positive after a bit of a tough start in life. Or of course Peter means 'rock', a good solid biblical meaning for a name!

Congratulations on your beautiful babies - so very lovely and precious. Flowers

OrlandaFuriosa · 09/04/2016 21:33

I like your names and love your babes. 3 is quite something.

Round here Olivia is massively overused. I suspect it will date. I'm fond of it, but just saying. Ditto Lily.

The Olivers round here are all about 15. Masses if Sams aged 12-24

James is one of the few names that completely crosses the social spectrum. For that reason if no other, I like it.

BrienneofQarth · 09/04/2016 21:25

Oh OP, you've actually made me well up! They are just so beautiful and precious, huge congratulations!

My name choices would be Daniel, Lily & Charlotte.

CoyRoy · 09/04/2016 21:14

Theodore, Rosanna and Isabella - TRI! :)

CoyRoy · 09/04/2016 21:13

Ah, sorry, read wrong. Thought you had a six year old! :)

Please update us with your choices.
Enjoy every second.

AliceThrewTheFookingGlass · 09/04/2016 21:08

Alexander and Benjamin are the names of my children so obviously I think they're the perfect choice Wink

I've got lily saved for if I ever had a girl too!

I like you Grin congratulations!

IslaSinga · 09/04/2016 21:05

Benjamin, Anna and Grace

Benjamin James
Anna Elizabeth
Grace Beatrice

JSarah · 09/04/2016 21:01

Sorry if I gave the wrong impression, but I don't have another child :)

These are my first, I'm coping very well, I was discharged a week ago. I admit, I'm struggling with expressing milk, but I'm doing well, I'll do absolutely anything for them!

Again, thank you for all the suggestions!

If they were mine they would be Belle, Felicity and Benjamin X

LittleHeart2014 · 09/04/2016 20:52

Oh my goodness! They are gorgeous! Some beautiful name suggestions too. Congratulations x

CoyRoy · 09/04/2016 20:50

Oh you lucky thing! How amazing! What is your eldest child called?

From your list, I like Alexander, Charlotte and Isabella.
Elizabeth would also fit with your taste, I think.

daisydalrymple · 09/04/2016 20:35

Oh how gorgeous, thanks for sharing Smile they look so cosy all nestled together xxx do update us on your final choice of names when you decide, if you're happy to share! Very best wishes, what a lovely thread! X

ClosedAuraOpenMind · 09/04/2016 20:34

congratulations! live Matthew, which would have been our DCs name if I'd had a boy
I had a girl - Charlotte- so obviously that is a great name. I often think if she had a sister Alexandra would be a good choice, then you could have nn Lottie and Lexie

OreoHeaven · 09/04/2016 20:30

Your photo is too cute! Simply perfect!

Another boy name I really like is Reuben.

overwhelmed34 · 09/04/2016 20:29

Or Samuel...'God has heard', which is lovely for a long awaited child!

OreoHeaven · 09/04/2016 20:28

Congratulations! Wonderful news. I do love baby announcements particularly if it's multiples!

Names I adore:

Boys

Fraser
Jacob (Jacob Henry is lovely)
Isaac
Rowan
Henry
Elijah

Girls

Cora
Autumn
Eliza
Phoebe
Poppy
Summer
Lara

There are lots more I like but these immediately Spring to mind.

overwhelmed34 · 09/04/2016 20:27

Wow!! Congratulations! How beautiful! I like the idea someone said earlier about names with a 'gift' meaning, as these are such a blessing! So from your list I'd probably go for Matthew, Anna (rather than Annabelle) and Grace.

JSarah · 09/04/2016 20:20

Here :) the one in the middle is our beautiful boy and the girlies are on the sides!
