Means ' my moon'

What do we think? Cool or tacky?

Honest opinions please!

I personally like Luna, agree combined with Mia is a bit much though.

Obvs there is potential for 'loony' nickname but let's face if kids want to tease they'll find a way - i once had my hair cut into a bob and some classmates started calling me lampshade head Hmm I wouldn't get too hung up on that!

And anyway 'loony' Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter is an absolute sweetheart if in actually a little bit loony

SwedishEdith · 19/03/2016 12:39

Sounds like a holiday resort.

MamaLazarou · 19/03/2016 12:38

Aw, little Loony.

PinguForPresident · 19/03/2016 00:16

It sounds like a brand of sanitary towel.

Mouthfulofquiz · 18/03/2016 20:59

I would suggest Lana but I watched a programme the other day where a girl was ribbed at school mercilessly because of what Lana spells backwards...
Kids can be arseholes - Lana is a lovely name!

Bananalanacake · 18/03/2016 14:44

I'm still waiting for someone to suggest Lana.

Luna is dreadful, sorry to be harsh but it is. It's the start of the word lunatic... It's incredibly faddish and will date very, very quickly. And yes Luna Mia is tacky.

Voteforpedr0 · 17/03/2016 21:27

Luna ombre

Voteforpedr0 · 17/03/2016 21:20

Luna Tic.

ByThePrickingOfMyThumbs · 17/03/2016 20:54

Luna Mia sounds like a mid range pushchair.

badtime · 17/03/2016 20:53

It sounds like a menstrual cup (there is a brand called Me Luna).

GinIsIn · 17/03/2016 16:50

Sounds like a type of Vauxhall, sorry OP!

How about Luna Ivy or Luna Joy, if you want a short middle name?

Arpege · 17/03/2016 16:42

Moon me?!

I want to sing O Sole Mio for some reason....

HellyMelly76 · 17/03/2016 16:37

Amused by moon me!

Surprised by some saying it's popular, I thought I was being different!

Keep the opinions coming, also on the name Luna without the Mia part :)

Chocolatteaddict1 · 17/03/2016 16:35

I think it's lovely

Mouthfulofquiz · 17/03/2016 16:34

Sounds like it might be the name of a phone or a hair removal device. Or a sonic face cleaning brush.
Both good names in their own right though!

southeastastra · 17/03/2016 16:17

luna buggy

Frika · 17/03/2016 16:15

No, no - it sounds like one of those wackily-waftily-named children's boutiques that sell hats shaped like ladybirds and dry-clean only white handknits for newborns.

ABitAsleep · 17/03/2016 16:10

Luna Michaela or Luna Marie have a better ring to them

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 17/03/2016 16:08

Same as, Stiff. All I hear is Moon Me.
How about Luna Mae.

stiffstink · 17/03/2016 15:57

I would automatically go to "moon me" for the meaning because I'm very childish.

gunting · 17/03/2016 15:57

Luna is a bit too 'now'. I've seen lots of babies called Luna in the past 2 years so it might date.

If you don't mind that then I'd pick a middle same without an 'ah' ending.

ABitAsleep · 17/03/2016 15:52

I have to agree and say it doesn't really flow, although i do love both names.
