Modern Arabic Boy Names

Hi everyone, I just found out I am having a baby boy and while I had a long list of girl names I liked I do not have many boy names. So far I have chosen names like zayn,laith,hadi, and elyas. My husband likes none. I like 1-syllable names that are short and easy, but he likes names a little more 'traditional'. We live in the US but are of Arabic origin and practice Islam so I'd like a Muslim/Arabic name that would be easy to say in the US. I liked names like ayman also but just thought it would get my son teased in school! I have one daughter named 'Tala' so I would like something to match that as well. Any and all suggestions are welcome :)

Ali and Karim are two of my favorites, unfortunately my sister used both before I had the chance! I like Saif, I'm just worried that will be odd in the US as it is said like 'safe' . Do you guys think it would work or would he be made fun of?

What about Isa? I love that name :) My friend married a Muslim and they have an adorable little boy called Amar.

I know it's not one syllable but is Arabic and also easy to say in western tongues.

OK, just been through the kids class lists. Brit in the ME. Apologies if these are old fashioned (or even some girls names), but I've picked out the ones which look "familiar" to an English speaker, and are short (tho lots are 2 syllables). Any use?

Ali, Ain, Arif, Baz, Deen, Erol, Esa/Isa, Haris, Kafi, Karim, Mossa /Musa, Nur, Omar, Rafi, Raz, Saif, Taj, Said.

Names that are both biblical and Koranic may be good choice. Elyas (specially if you spell it Elias) is my favourite. I know a few and they are lovely boys. Josef/yousof and yonus are nice too.
Zayn is lovely too but I think very very popular these days.

I love Elyas. Shame your DH doesn't like it :(. Adam is actually a traditional Arabic boys name. I also like Majid, bit different but strong. What about Issa, Faisal, Jassim?
