Nina - Not keen, prefer Mina.
Tessa (Tess) - Okay, but nothing special, sounds quite harsh.
Natasha - Love!
Natalia - Really like, but prefer Natalie.
Esme - Really like.
Jessica - Don't like (My name, i always considered it boring, but i know it's making a comeback)
Talitha (Tali) - Not keen, prefer Talia.

LuciaInFurs · 10/03/2016 10:27

I love Esme.

Bellasima20 · 10/03/2016 10:24

Love Jessica and Nina most. Natalia also very lovely.

I knew a Tessa at school and every time her name was said, it grated, just found it very irritating. Not overly feminine or flowing.

Laquila · 10/03/2016 09:06

What lovely names. I have a good friend called Tess so am biased towards that, and also know an adorable baby Nina. Jessica is nice but a bit blander than the others. Talitha is gorgeous and Talitha Getty was pretty cool. Natalia and Natasha are both nice, but I prefer Talitha. Esme is nice but I think it'll date.

girlwithagruffalotattoo · 10/03/2016 09:05

Nina is lovely

Scarydinosaurs · 10/03/2016 09:05

I love Nina

joyfulworld · 10/03/2016 09:02

I love Nina best. Lovely name.

MissTurnstiles · 08/03/2016 20:29

Before reading your explanation upthread I think I would have pronounced Talitha ta-LEE-tha.

Jessica Esme is lovely.

Jessie and Jess are also gorgeous.

Summ3r · 04/03/2016 13:40

Love esme then Jessica then Nina

applecatchers36 · 03/03/2016 22:50

Tessa or Esme are my favourites from your list

NataliaOsipova · 03/03/2016 21:28

Natasha is the diminutive form of Natalia, if that helps..... (think "War and Peace"). Tess smacks of Thomas Hardy, but is nice if you don't mind the connotation (Tess of the D'Urbervilles - hanged for murdering her rapist ex lover). Not sure this helps though....!

BikeRunSki · 03/03/2016 21:26

Nina and Tess/a were on our list for DD! Esme would have been too, apart from negative (personal) associations.

DD is not any of those names though.

Biscuitsneeded · 03/03/2016 21:23

Nina or Tess. Lovely, simple, timeless names. Jessica and Natasha a bit 80s for me, Esme is too popular and very 'now', and I don't like the sound of Natalia or Talitha.

elevenweekstogo · 03/03/2016 21:03

I vote for Nina. They are all lovely though.

tinymeteor · 03/03/2016 21:01

I love Nina, Esme and Tali

Homerun23 · 03/03/2016 20:58

It is pronounced TAL-i-tha (same as Tabitha but with an L)

thebiscuitindustry · 03/03/2016 20:54

Nina - quite like
Tessa (Tess) - OK
Natasha - great
Natalia - great (you could have Nat or Talia as nickname)
Esme - the Ezz sound is harsh
Jessica - like
Talitha (Tali) - is it TAL-i-tha or Tal-ITH-a?

Dolly80 · 03/03/2016 20:40

I love Tess, am due in 5 weeks and would love to have it but partners not keen. We still haven't got a clue what to choose.

Homerun23 · 03/03/2016 20:38

PenelopeChipShop - sorry! Blush

Tessa or Esme would be my choices out of those options.

cecilelliott · 03/03/2016 19:55

Another for Tessa. Great name!
