Rose, Rosie or Rosa?!

I love all three variations on this name - think Rose is very elegant and Rosa is slightly more unusual. My favourite is Rosie, especially with our surname as it has two syllables and ends in 'ey' too so think it fits well but know it is very popular at the mo...any thoughts on which you prefer? Thanks Smile

Rosie was on our list. I really like it. I like Rose and Rosa too. Easy to put Rose or Rosa on birth certificate but call your DD Rosie.

We have two DDs and their names both end with 'ee' sounds!

Thanks for the replies Smile Interesting to know the others automatically get used as nicknames - I guess that way she would be able to choose how she would like to be known so great advice!

I can see why Rosie might not be to e everyone's taste as it is quite cutesy. I have always liked the ones that end in an 'ee' sound for some reason, love Poppy too! X

One of my dd's has Rose as her MN I didn't realise it was common to do this until I saw it on a baby name statistics publication long after her birth but funnily enough I prefer Rosa as a first name. I think names ending in a are so beautiful.

I don't like Rosie at all, sorry. I think it might be cute on a little girl, but just not to my taste.

I was going to say put Rose on bc then you can use the others as nn!

I have a Rose. We've never met another. She does get called Rosie and Rosa by her friends at school anyway...so choose Rose and know that the other two names will pop up there anyway. :)
