Thoughts please on the name Anouk?

I like the sound, it'd be a tribute to an Ann relative, and we have a slight French connection. However I may be swamped by hormones at this point (due any day). Thoughts?

Love it! Very popular in the Netherlands (it's also s Dutch name). My fabulously chic next door neighbour have a daughter called Anouk. Smile

Life doesn't get more international than a Notrh London Primary.

Or any London Primary. Would not worry about that.

We're in the UK though & she'd have a non-French surname (which it suits, rhythmically). My only concern is that Anouk isn't yet an "international" French name & is it therefore a bit pretentious? Say, in a North London primary school...

I recently met a little girl (6yo) with this name, I like it and the girl suited it.
