We have a boys name all sorted and ready to go. Girls names are proving difficult to say the least. I'm a bit meh about all of them. Going round in circles is not helping.

Flora
Florence
Martha
Isla
Orla
Beatrice

Feel free to suggest more. It's giving me a headache. Tia.

Love them all except Flora and Martha.

Beatrice is my favourite.

alltouchedout · 16/02/2016 20:13

When my friends told me she was considering Beatrice for her baby I thought she was joking and laughed.
She was not impressed.
I don't know why but I just can't take the name seriously.

Isla and Orla are ok. Martha is bearable. I'm not a fan of Flora or Florence.

I do worry about the butter link of Flora.

Orla is wonderful!

MissFlight · 16/02/2016 20:08

I prefer Fleur to Flora.

cecilelliott · 16/02/2016 20:06

Yes, I love Flora too- gorgeous, classic name and little used.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 16/02/2016 20:05

I love Flora. Use Flora.

I shall tell you what MNers will be keen to say to rip them to shreds:

Flora - spreads like butter
Orla - too similar to oral
Isla - too common
Martha - too frumpy

I think they'll like Beatrice Grin
