Aiden/Aidan

Just wondering which of these spelling people thought were the most common. I've also seen it spelled Aden (The name of a park near where DH used to live) but I don't want to do an unusual spelling and have him having to clarify how to spell his name for the rest of his life!

Aidan definitely.

DontKillMyVibe · 14/02/2016 16:15

I spell it with an A at the end and much prefer it that way

Sophronia · 14/02/2016 16:13

Aidan, definitely

Esssss · 14/02/2016 16:09

Aidan

snozzlemaid · 14/02/2016 16:08

Definitely Aidan.

The one I know is Aidan.
And autocorrect didn't complain...

NameeChangedd · 14/02/2016 16:03

Aidan, it was the original after the Irish spelling

Lweji · 14/02/2016 15:48

I'd spell it with an a, but it might depend on where you live.

WileHallion · 14/02/2016 15:47

Well as an Irish person I prefer Aodhán but presuming you're in the UK, Aidan is the closest and nicest option.

Dislike Aiden and Aden is hideous.

PurpleDaisies · 14/02/2016 15:46

I've only ever seen Aiden before. Aidan looks wrong to me, and k think Aden is a port somewhere.

Aiden would get my vote.

RandomMess · 14/02/2016 15:45

I think pretty equally tbh, I would choose which spelling suits the rest of his name the best!
