I like:
Jude
Luke
Jonas
Jack

.....But dh doesn't but we do want a short solid but uncommon/not overly popular name.
Please give me some ideas. Baby needs a name now!

I'd never had considered Rex tbh , but I have a Max which is a very short, solid and good name suits any type of boy.(and very few Max's at his school)

I was at a Parents Evening, one of the Mums called to her son : "Josh".
Love that name.

It's been mentioned but I love Leo!

Millions of Sams here. So much so that when my cousin and his wife had twin boys I said to my mum "I presume one of them is Sam?" & sure enough, he was!

BotBotticelli · 14/02/2016 20:46

You can't call a baby Jeff no matter how cool you want it to be. Please.

Rex- love love this name.

BikeRunSki · 12/02/2016 09:27

Maybe! My family has all the Chrises and Joes. To the extent of sometimes not knowing who a Christmad card is actually from!

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 12/02/2016 09:08

Maybe it's just my family with all the Sams then. We have 2 x grandpa Sams, nephew Sam, neighbour toddler Sam, ds2 Middle name Samuel, ds2 and ds3 best friends are Sam. How weird it's uncommon elsewhere, it feels they are everywhere around us!
