They are both quite ugly in my opinion. Sorry Flowers

SoupDragon · 01/02/2016 12:22

As you are living in Ireland, Dearbhla.

Although I'm English living in England and I know how to pronounce it.

DearbhIa · 01/02/2016 12:12

Many thanks everyone for your comments Flowers

I think I agree mostly about Dearbhla... Love Liberty to pieces also (although maybe I'll keep as guilty pleasure)!

I love Liberty. I'd be worried about years of having to spell Dearbhla (and her being called Dear Blah at school)

senua · 01/02/2016 10:47

COME HERE NOW, LIBERTY...
Kind of loses its meaning.

rofl.

OP made me rofl too. Look at her posting name and then try to guess which name she prefers.Wink

Dearblah is lovely.

Grin

That's how I feel about the name Dearbhla. It's a bit blah and a tad meh.

Liberty isn't a fantastic name but it's certainly no more ridiculous than Saoirse. And I like Libby.

Sofiria · 01/02/2016 09:54

I love Liberty!

midsomermurderess · 01/02/2016 09:26

Libby as a nn is awful, so twee. Dearblah is lovely.

DontKillMyVibe · 01/02/2016 08:22

Not Katie. Don't really have a preference between the other 2 names

Mclaren37 · 01/02/2016 04:37

I love Liberty. I know a great family with Liberty, Henry and Sebastian. Lovely!
I wouldn't have known that Dearbhla was Dervla - but it sounds like lots of other people would. Slightly prefer Liberty though.

villainousbroodmare · 31/01/2016 23:41

Dearbhla by a mile. Smile

bibbitybobbityyhat · 31/01/2016 21:44

Dearbhla. You are lucky you can use this because you are Irish!

KenDoddsDadsDog · 31/01/2016 21:43

Dearbhla

maggiethemagpie · 31/01/2016 21:43

Liberty gets my vote. Nickname Libby?

Sophronia · 31/01/2016 21:40

Dearbhla

WhyCantIuseTheNameIWant · 31/01/2016 21:40

COME HERE NOW, LIBERTY...

Kind of looses its meaning.

Rinceoir · 31/01/2016 20:52

Liberty

mrsschu · 31/01/2016 19:43

Dearbhla. 100%. And if you're in Ireland it's easy to use that spelling. Liberty sounds pretty ridiculous IMO.

VeryPunny · 31/01/2016 19:42

Dearbhla, great name. I also considered Daireann for DC2, but he was a boy.

Pipistrella · 31/01/2016 19:38

All are lovely.

DramaAlpaca · 31/01/2016 19:34

Dearbhla will be fine in Ireland as everyone will know how to say it.

I much prefer it to Liberty.

IoraRua · 31/01/2016 19:33

Dearbhla.
Katie is a bit meh.
Liberty is alright but Dearbhla is just nicer.

turdfairynomore · 31/01/2016 19:33

Dearbhla! Love it. (And Caoimhe. And Cliodhna.....even though you didn't ask for alternatives!! Sorry!!)
