Cooper, Archer or Huxley?

Ok! This probably isn't what you all meant by back to the drawing board (!) - but we do like these so worth a shot... Thoughts/preferences on Cooper, Archer or Huxley? (Yes throwing Archer in againSmile)

My worry about Huck would be that if you're shouting it across a playground it sounds way too close to Fuck.

I know one Archer and although I don't hate it I always think it's more of a job description. I'm not a fan of surnames as first names but from your list I would go with Archer.

Noooo everyone stop talking about Huxley right now! I really wanted to use this name and there were only 40 odd last year. Now I'm being paranoid that everyone will want to use it because I asked about it on MN recently haha.

I'm only half serious btw as I just did a survey monkey poll of a random bunch of my friends and Huxley got universally slated compared to my other choices.

Out of Cooper and Archer I'd go for Archer if I were you. I love this name too but my SIL just used it.

I do like Archer but it makes me think of Jeffrey Archer (I'm 27 and have possibly the strangest points of reference).

Huxley is awful, sorry but don't see how anyone can think that's a nice name.

Not mad on Archer but it's way better.

Cooper defo the best and could be quite cool

I know 4 year olds with all three of those names.
I prefer Archer over Huxley and Cooper but all 3 are fine!

None of them raise an eyebrow here honestly! I'm not in the US but close by. And the parents of all three named boys are South African, australian and Irish - so not just an "American" thing.

I lived in the states for years but that's given me an aversion for American names and I don't like the surname trend.

I know a Cooper, its ok but most people repeat, " no, what's your first name?", he doesn't like it. Archer is better then Huxley.

God, is Archer the new Finn? There have been about 20 threads recently asking people's thoughts on it it's awful, but not as awful as Huxley. Or Finn, for that matter
There's clearly going to be an explosion of Archers over the next couple of years.
