Traditional but uncommon and maybe some welsh

So me and my DW are expecting our first DC but we can't seem to find any names we both like. We also don't know if we are having a son or a daughter.

We both like traditional names but DW doesn't want anything too common.
She would also like something welsh either as a first name or a middle name.

So could you all please suggest some baby names for us

Yes but the E is shorter than Air so it's more like Ever but with a short A sound on the end. Well it is where I am anyway- up in the welshest part of North Wales where I know about 10- it's nothing like Ava!

CeriBerry Phonetically Efa would sound like Ava, the E sounds like the A in air, the f is a v sound.

My favourite Welsh names are Rhydian or Iestyn for a boy and Eira and Mali for a girl.

I used to know an Eirlys, which is very pretty.

Angharad is also nice.

And I have an uncle Elwyn.

My favourite Welsh Girl's name is 'Nest'

Make sure, if you use it, that you pronounce Aneurin correctly as Ah-neigh-rin

Taliesin is my brave boys name, or Aneurin or Caredig. Emlyn has that old man chic.
Love Osian and Ianto too.

I love all of these, too, especially Taliesin (nn Tal), Aneurin and Ianto. I also like Llyr but that may be a bit much if you live outside of Wales.

I love Bronwyn, Anwen, Seren, Megan, Catrin, Branwen and Celyn for a girl.

I like Osian, Owain, Macsen, Iago and Elgan for boys!

DS2 is Ianto (Yan-To), which is a pet form of Ifan which is the Welsh equivalent of John.
We also had Idris, Iwan, Ieuan, Gethin and Griffith on the list.
How about Cerys, Carys, Seren, Eira (snow) for a girl?
