How would you spell Jayden for a girl?

Yes - my parents found that it's not too hard to go for something in the vast middle ground between Jaydenne and the 15th Amelia Smile

I'd rather be the only Jaydenne/Jaiden/Jayden in my peer group than the fifteenth Amelia.

It has that going for it at least OP.

Actually, I'd leave out the Jayden altogether and go for any one of the million other names that are much nicer aren't it.

Do you all feel good about piling in and slagging off the op?
Once one or two people have made the point re it being a boys name and not liking it then it verges on bullying to keep saying it in more and more patronising terms.

I'm not sure it really matter, I think they're the same spas I have a little boy called Jayden however, whilst at playgroup, I met a little girl with the name spelt the same.

I work in a reception class and we have five different spelling variations of lily-may and three of lily. I am v judgey of "quirkily spelt names". I also have a long name which has several commonly used spellings of it. Don't do it op, you are setting your child up for a lifetime of people misspelling her name, Jade is lovely, keep it simple!

I've just had a trawl round a family history names searching website and the only female spelling on there was Jaydene.

She'll spend her life with people assuming she's a boy when they see her name. My sister is Jordan and constantly gets 'Mr' and got put in a boy's group in school. She hates her name.

Jayden is an overly popular name for children. It would be the equivalent f naming a girl Liam or Craig in the 90s. Imagine the stick you'd get having a boys name in school Hmm
