Narrowing it down!

Thanks to everyone for their help with removing Tuppence from our names list earlier in the week 😂

We have narrowed choices down to -

Clara Florence Reona Cl...
Harriet Florence Reona Cl...
Persephone Florence Reona Cl...
Florence Persephone Reona Cl...

Florence and Reona are both family names, what are your opinions on these?

Ree-oh-na - my Nan's name! Yes, our surname is Cla...

Why is it so blooming difficult - if this baby was a boy we'd already chosen Felix as his name and loved lots of middle name combinations! Agghhhhh! !!

Clara or Harriet for me, they are both lovely. Harriet feels slightly more timeless; Clara seems to be having a bit of a moment (DD was very nearly Clara, we only didn't use it because we were worried that it was about to surge in popularity. While it doesn't look all that popular in the name stats charts, I know 3 little Claras born in the last year).

I have an irrational dislike of Florence - I'm clearly in a minority.

Persephone wouldn't really be "useable" in the circles I move in - it would definitely cause some raised eyebrows. It's a fantastic name, but just a bit "much" for me. Maybe it wouldn't stand out so much where you are, though?

BettyBi0 · 29/01/2016 13:07

Reona is lovely. Not heard that before is it "Ray-oh-nar" or "ree- oh-nar"?

They all seem very loooooooong but I like the Persephone one best

JingsAndCrivens · 29/01/2016 11:22

Oh I've just seen that your surname starts with Cl. Hmmm, not sure Clara would work in that case.

JingsAndCrivens · 29/01/2016 11:20

Clara - beautiful
Harriet - I think this is quite an ugly name and can't understand why it's popular
Persephone - it's a bit fancy for me. Sephy is nice though
Florence - not as bad as Harriet but I'm not hugely keen

Dogadviceneeded · 29/01/2016 11:19

Does your surname begin with Cla? Or Cl something else?

Clara is a lovely name but imo Clara Clarke (for example) would be too much, whereas Clara Clooney (are you Amal??) Would be fine.

pilates · 29/01/2016 10:18

Harriet, followed closely by Clara.

Thetruthfairy · 29/01/2016 09:15

Love Persephone nn Seffy
Like them all actually. You can't go wrong really xx

BroadcastHouse · 29/01/2016 07:30

Aww Tuppence! Loved it!
Florence is my favorite of these four, and I guess slightly less controversial than TuppenceWink

Sunshine511 · 28/01/2016 23:14

Harriet Florence x

Jermajesty · 28/01/2016 23:10

Persephone, non Percy, fabulous name!

Pepsioften100 · 28/01/2016 23:09

Hmm if Florence and reona are compulsory and also must be two middle names I would go for Harriet Florence or if you want Clara then put it as one of the middle name so it's not Clara Cl.... for most normal name things.

Sophronia · 28/01/2016 22:53

Harriet Florence Reona

GracieGraives · 28/01/2016 22:14

Fair enough OP! Smile

LeonoraFlorence · 28/01/2016 21:21

I like Harriet Florence :)

Kirkenes · 28/01/2016 21:19

Blimey, you are going to get fed up filling out forms! Wink

Which is your favourite name? How the name flows with the middle names is pretty irrelevant as in normal life you never give out your middle name.

I like ALL the names except Persephone.

babynumber3eek · 28/01/2016 21:13

All our children have two middle names, family tradition going way back...

Clara Florence but as you have Cl... as your surname, that is too much.

Persephone Florence sounds nice. Actually, that is probably my favourite combination.

BikeRunSki · 28/01/2016 20:52

Harriet

tinofbiscuits · 28/01/2016 20:43
